Figures use the prices on our published price list. Flea and worming is shown at a typical annual cost of a vet-supplied combined treatment for your pet’s weight, medication is scaled by weight, and blood tests are shown at a typical in-house panel. Medication from visits, blood tests and imaging are 20% off on Companion and included on Companion Plus (new-condition medication for its first month). Ongoing medication is 20% off on Companion and 30% off on Companion Plus. Surgery beyond neutering is not counted, and is included on Companion Plus. The corporate comparison uses prices published by a large corporate-owned practice in Leeds, checked September 2026, for consultations, boosters and neutering. Where they do not publish a price, our own price is used, so the gap shown is a conservative one.

These are the parts of the terms people actually ask about, in plain English. The full terms and conditions take precedence.
No joining fee
Your first payment is your first month, or your first year. There is nothing to pay up front beyond that.
It’s a 12 month plan
Plans run for 12 months and renew each year. That is how we can include a full year of vaccinations, flea and worming and unlimited consultations at this price.
Changed your mind?
If you join online and haven’t used any services, you have 14 days to cancel. To stop the plan renewing, let us know 30 days before your renewal date.
Prices are published
Every price we charge is on this website. Plan prices are reviewed once a year, and we give 30 days’ notice of any change.
Pre-existing conditions
Pets with existing conditions are welcome on both plans. Tell us about them when you join. They are not covered for treatment, but Companion Plus members get 30% off the ongoing medication to manage them.
Out of hours
Emergencies outside our opening hours are not included. Our partner Vets Now Bradford (01274 722721) covers them, and every client has free 24/7 access to VidiVet for digital advice.
What isn’t covered
Specialist referrals, out-of-hours care, microchipping, prescription diets, breeding, cosmetic surgery and dental procedures sit outside both plans, though members still get their discount where one applies.
Upgrading
You can move from Companion to Companion Plus part way through your plan. Just call us on 0113 868 6100.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a joining fee?
No, there is no joining fee for either health plan. Your first payment covers your first month of membership.
Can I join if my pet has a pre-existing condition?
Yes, pets with pre-existing conditions are welcome on both plans. Pre-existing conditions are not covered for treatment under the Companion Plus Plan, however members do receive a 30% discount on any ongoing medication required.
Can I cancel my health plan?
Plans run for 12 months. If you join online and haven’t used any services you can cancel within 14 days, and you can stop the plan renewing by giving us 30 days’ notice before your renewal date. See our Health Plan Terms & Conditions for full details.
Is the plan available for rabbits and small pets?
Currently our health plans are available for dogs and cats. Please contact us to discuss options for other species.
What happens if my pet needs out-of-hours emergency care?
Out-of-hours emergencies are not covered under either plan, however we have a dedicated partner in place, Vets Now Bradford, to ensure your pet gets the care they need. All our clients also have free access to VidiVet for 24/7 digital vet advice.
