How it works

Set it up once. Use it whenever you need it.

1

Sign up with our link

Register through the Paws & Co link below. That’s what makes it free, so don’t sign up from VidiVet’s own site.

2

Ask your question

Type what’s worrying you, add a photo or video of your pet if it helps, and send it. Any time, day or night.

3

Get a video reply

A UK-registered vet records a personal video response for you, usually within minutes.

4

Watch it again

Your replies are saved, so you can go back to the advice as many times as you like.

Why we include it

Because worry doesn’t keep office hours.

Most of the questions people have about their pets don’t need an appointment. They need a vet to say “that’s fine” or “bring them in tomorrow” or “go now”. VidiVet does exactly that, without the search engine guesswork.

  • Free to register and free to use for Paws & Co clients
  • Helps you decide whether it’s an appointment, an emergency, or nothing to worry about
  • No more diagnosing your pet from the internet at 2am
  • Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including bank holidays

What people use it for

Four things it’s brilliant at.

Reassurance

Is this normal?

A vet takes a look and tells you whether what you’re seeing is anything to worry about, so you can stop worrying or act.

Expert advice

Answers in minutes

A personal response from a UK-registered vet, not a forum, not a chatbot and not a leaflet.

Emergency assessment

Should I go now?

If it’s an emergency, they’ll tell you straight away and point you to out-of-hours care. If it can wait, they’ll tell you that too.

Medication

Questions about medicines

Missed a dose, not sure about a side effect, or wondering whether two things can be given together? Ask.

If it is an emergency

VidiVet is advice. Vets Now is treatment.

VidiVet can’t examine or treat your pet. If they tell you to be seen now, or you already know it’s serious, this is where to go when we’re closed.

Out-of-hours emergencies

Our partner is Vets Now Bradford, 151 Bradford Road, BD3 7BA. Call them directly, any evening, overnight, weekend or bank holiday.

01274 722721

Out-of-hours care is charged by Vets Now and isn’t included in our health plans.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Registering and using VidiVet is free for Paws & Co clients, as long as you sign up through our practice link. You don’t need to be on a health plan.

Who answers my question?

A UK-registered vet. You get a personal video reply, not an automated answer.

Can VidiVet prescribe medication or treat my pet?

No. VidiVet gives advice and helps you decide what to do next. Examinations, prescriptions and treatment happen here at the practice, or at Vets Now Bradford out of hours.

What if they tell me it’s an emergency?

Call Vets Now Bradford on 01274 722721 if we’re closed, or call us on 0113 868 6100 if we’re open. VidiVet will tell you clearly if your pet needs to be seen straight away.

Do I need to be registered with Paws & Co?

Yes. The free service is for Paws & Co clients. If you’re not registered with us yet, register your pet here first, then set up VidiVet.
